ROMANIK SA

In 1984 Locksmith Workshop Jan Romanik began production of household appliances. Member of the Metal Crafts Guild (membership obligatory) and The Handicrafts Co-operative GOSMET, it offered locksmith services and co-operated with state owned companies.

In 1989 it took the name of TECHM£OT and launched a new line of hammers production, which was a start point for export sales.

In the early 90s, the political and economic changes in Poland had their enormous influence on the company's development. Since that moment, our vision to become a leading manufacturer of household and garden tools has been successfully realised.

We increased our production potential and broadened the product range, which consequently led to a greater number of customers. TECHM£OT brand started to be widely recognized in Poland and abroad.

In 1995 the Farming Tools Factory of Konecki Region in Krasna (Koneckie Zak³ady Narzêdzi Gospodarczych), with a long tradition of tools production, was incorporated into TECHM£OT.

In 2000 the acquisition of another KZNG plant in Przedborz enabled production of a new range of tools: hatchets and axes. At the same time, woodworking plant INTERWOOD in Miastko was also acquired by TECHM£OT and secured supplies of high quality wooden handles.

At this stage, the company considerably increased its share in the domestic market and started expansion to new foreign markets. New brand of professional tools GARDEN PRO turned a great success and TECHM£OT tools were widely appreciated.

Today, in spite of enormous tools supply and a very high level of production in Europe , customers from more than 40 countries in the world recognize the quality of our tools and our offer has yet increased in value.
